My transmission crapped out about 3 months ago, and I had it replaced with a used one. A few weeks after I started driving it again, I noticed when I started the car and it idoled as well as when I accelerated I can hear liquid sound from behind my dash. In addition this week noticed a coolant leak which has gotten significantly worse over this week. ( I am going to the mechanic tomorrow, but wondering what to expect) The van has no over heated, but I am putting in coolant every 2 days.

CHances are that sound is coolant filling the heater core. Check for leaks and repair. Once the system is refilled, the noise should stop.
