1999 Taurus SE wagon.
How do I install a new upper brake light lens please?
I have the new assembly including the reflector back plate but only the red lens glass was broken off and needs replacing.
How do I detach the red glass lens from the new assy please so that I can install it?
Do I just use a screwdriver to pry the red plastic cover off of the assy?

I looked at your owners manual, not any help at all. I did find the info below. Some of thses databases are not always correct. If the info doesn't apply, I'll look elsewhere.
