i do not have the use of the 4x4

is the solenoid with the vacuum hoses at fault and be replaced if the 4x4 does not work if i use the electric selector switch on the dash? using the selector switch, the 4x4 doesn't work at all in 4x4 high or 4x4 low.

Check to make sure the actuator on the transfer is getting power. If it is, remove the actuator and check for operation. They are known to go bad.
