Vehicle shut down I wiggled to the red positive battery cable and car started up car ran for a week and shut down again try that again car did not start touch black negative wire lights and interior of car came on the car will not start the alternator is good and the starter clicks are my battery cables faulty and battery light came on in car what do I do
A STARTER PULLING A LOT OF NORMAL "AMPS"......JUST WILL NOT WORK WITH A CRAPPY CONNECTION, THAT'S LIKE HAVING ONE LITTLE TEENY TINY STRAND OF COPPER WIRE, IN THE PLACE OF A BIG CABLE
A BAD BATTERY CONNECTION MAY ALSO HINDER THE ALTERNATOR FROM CHARGING THE BATTERY
LEMME KNOW WHAT YOU FIND

Are the battery terminals clean and tight? If you can move them, they are too loose and in many cases, you will get one click from the starter and that's it.
