I have a chrysler LHS 99. Has only 136000 miles on it. Runs really smooth. I recently changed the number. 1 and 2 spark plugs because of a misfire and the gasket too. Now it runs awesome but sometimes when I start it up I have to pum in some gas otherwise the engine will shut off. Anyhelp in this regard is highly appreciated.

This is a common result if the battery was disconnected or run dead recently. The Engine Computer has to relearn "minimum throttle" before it will know when it has to be in control of idle speed. Until then, the engine may be hard to start unless you hold the accelerator pedal down 1/4", you won't get the nice "idle flare-up" to 1500 rpm at start-up, and it will tend to stall at stop signs. To meet the conditions for the relearn to take place, drive at highway speed with the engine warmed up, then coast for at least seven seconds without touching the pedals.

Give me 100 Chrysler products with this symptom and I'll solve 99 of them with nothing more than the test drive. Cleaning injectors won't do anything for this.

Thank you very much for replying my question, I really appreciate it. So if I drive in highway speed and coast for about 7 seconds it would do it right?

Just go out and drive it. If there is still a problem after that, THEN we'll figure out where to go next.
