Idle on cold days

truck will crank in cold temp but takes 30 minutes to warm up and runs terrible to the warm up perioe 5.3

First is there any check engine lights on? If so, have computer scanned. Also, water in the gas will cause this because it'll freeze at night or while sitting for long times and the engine will run rough until it passes the water.

A failing fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator will cause this as well.
