Well a weak fuel pump can cause this[need to check fuel pressure]
a bad throttle position sensor can cause it
a plugged exhaust system like convertor
bad o2 sensor it all depends on readings vacum should be min of 20 psi fuel pressure 35-40 compression 100-150 per cylinder
a bad ignition module can cause this also

I was driving my truck into town like any other day and on my way home the truck started bogging down, like it was pulling something heavy. I made sure the parking break was fully released, and checked the engine for any smoke, or leaking fluid, and made sure the oil was still full, or if the belt had broken. Finding nothing to be wrong, I shut the truck off and restarted it hoping the computer just needed to reset because of a sensor error, but the truck continued to bog down and get slower and slower until I got it to the drive way (luckely) and pushed it the rest of the way and parked it. I let the truck sit and check the oil once again to make sure I wasn't driving it with low or no oil and it was fine. But the truck still won't start. Can you offer any help or suggestions?

Just bought the truck 3 months ago and already replaced all the plugs, wires, alternator, starter and fuel pump.

It has more running problems besides this one but. It currently doesn't run and that's what I need fixed first

Can you check for codes? Have you done any basic testing? Have a helper crank it while you check for spark at the plugs.

I know the pump was replaced, how about the fuel filter? Can you check fuel pressure? It sounds like a fuel issue.

The fuel filter is also new, and there is plenty of pressure in the line, I used the pressure release valve on the fuel line near the engine block to test for good pressure and to see if there was any blockage. I also already tested the plug wires with a spray bottle while it was turning over. Every once in a while, while its turning over it does a real short sputter like its trying to start, but I havn't figured out the problem yet.

And I also don't have access to a code machine.

Did you visually check for spark at all the plugs? Did you use a fuel pressure gage, just seeing gas squirt is not conclusive.

My Chevy S-10 has no acceleration and limited power. About a week ago, my truck started losing power going up hills. These are grades on freeways, not off road. Now my truck hesitates/ jerks everytime I am accelerating or trying to maintain speed. When I press the gas, it accelerates, but with limited power. Additionally, when I get to 75 mph, I cannot accelerate any faster almost as if the engine doesn't have enough power to accelerate to a higher speed. I recently had the fuel pump replaced. I have also just replaced the fuel filter with no resolve.

I did a host of things to find out that it was a rather simple fix for me.

There is a tube / hose that goes from my air intake to the top of my engine block. While feeling around the engine for possible bad connections at my spark plugs, I bumped a this tube. For some reason the connection at the engine side had came loose. I pushed in back into place (felt like it snapped/ clicked back into place) and my power came back.

Prior to that I had:

removed my cat conv which assisted a little

I removed my air filter: this helped more than the cat conv. But can't drive around with out filter.

When I put them all back on, the same problem pesisted. Not sure if you use a knn filter, but if you do, you also may have over oiled the filter which could cause a build up on your mass air flow sensor. To clean that I was recommended to use choke/carb cleaner and canned air to remove the residue.

If this fixes your challenge, please let me know.

My S-10 (4.3 liter engine V-6) when it first starts up & try to take off the engine bogs down, won't hardly pull it's self out of it's tracks. After about 2 blocks it runs GEAR! But if I shut it off for just a minute then try & drive it same thing it won't hardly run for about 2 blocks then after that it runs great. I've had it to 2 shops & they've run there diagnostic analyzers (A Snap-on & the other is a Altest? And these mechanic's are really good & both run a auto repair shops. BUT! The analyzers show nothings wrong? So there just guessing to replace the airflow meter or the pressure valve under the manifold? But I ain't got a gold mine in my lower half & know from past experience you just guess at these new cars lol? Any ideals?

I would start at basics. Have the fuel pressure checked when the problem ocurs.

Coolant sensor, injectors being serviced, are some of the other items.

A scan tool will never tell you the issue by itself, only lead you in the right direction of the failure.
