Injections problems.

I have a 1999 chevy blazer 4wd with a 4.3 liter v6 vortec. When I take the plug out of cylinder 5 and turn the engine over it shoots out alot of gas. But when the plig is in the engine and I turn it over it gets a vapor lock. I done changed the injector.
