My car backfired and stalled driving on the highway. Wouldnt restart. Turns out a spark plug was broken in half. After replacing it the firing order was messed up. And battery was jumped and misfired somewhere and a puff of smoke. Now it only clicks when trying to start. Even while being jumped. Spark plug wire is faulty, I 'm worried the engines locked. Without a machine to hook it up to how can I tell what is the issue

It sounds like it jumped timing. See if you can turn the engine either direction by placing a large ratchet or breaker bar and socket on the crank shaft (front of engine). Let me know what you find. Also, let me know where the plug broke.
