My car will not start. It started acting up a few weeks ago and would not start on occassion unless my husband hit the starter with something. We have now replaced the starter and tested the spark plugs and they are getting fire. We also replaced the battery with a brand new one. The car will now turn over and attempt to start, but will not. We tried putting jumper cables on it, and still nothing. Can you assist me please?

If all ignition is working, check for fuel pressure to see if either your fuel pump has failed or the filter is clogged. Also, check for any blown fuses. Good luck!

Thank you. I know the fuel pump is kicking on, but that's the extent of my knowledge on that! I'll have those looked at though! Thanks!

Try this hold your gas pedal all the way to the floor while cranking see if it will start that way. Let me know what happens. You could have a bad coolant temp sensor.
