Pontiac sunfire 1998 with 2.2 motor. Went to dealer for car not starting. They toll me the alarm system was defect. The same problem is bac. When we turn off the motor it whill no restart. All the warning light go on and a buzing sound from the dash. After several time the car whil start when the buzing stop and the normal warning light go on.I do not have any alarm systhem install on the car. Where and whath is my problem?Dudtrk@ymail. My info shows a factory theft system. Passlock. Are you saying it cranks good but won't start? Passlock should be injector disable.

It could be the ignition switch? Can you check for any applicable security system codes? At the least, you need an obd2 code reader that will check manufacturer specific as well as generic codes.
