Can a alternator make a squealing noise

I change my water pump and the tension pulley when I start the car up I hear a chirping noise but when I rev it I hear a squealing noise it sounds like its coming from the alternator I can hear it when im driving

Belt is slipping causing noise. May need new belt and/or tensioner.

Check that no coolant is still dripping on the belt.U may to clean the belt with brakecleaner.U may have to replace it.
