Hi there, hope you can give me some insight.
I just bought a Neon and there is a grinding sound and vibration I feel. It sounds like a bearing sound.
I replaced the whole hub with a known good used unit and the sound is still there.
I thought I read on a post here that states the bearing on the right hand side may cause the droning sound to seem like it was coming from the left. Is that accurate?
I bought this little car for $300 and it was a great deal, runs great and the rest of it's not too bad. Just want to do what's best for next project.
Thanks so much

That is not the case, but a novice may have trouble pin pointing the exact location, a wheel bearing will get louder with increased road speed, also loading that bearing up like cornering can also increase noise, often just jacking up the wheel and feeling for free play in the bearing (there should be none) or just spinning the wheel can often cause the bearing to rumble.
