If it cranks good but wont start, have a helper crank it while you visually check for spark at the spark plugs. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure.
To check for spark, pull a spark plug wire loose, where applicable. Use a spark tester in the boot. Ground metal part of tester to metal part of engine. Engine cranking, watch for spark to jump the tester gap. Your local autostore should sell a spark tester, doesnt cost much.
Check for applicable trouble codes. At the least, you need an obd2 code reader to check codes. Your local autostore should have one.
