Engine not getting enough fuel to start

Engine not getting enough gas to start car I have to pump the gas pedel several times to get car to start and it is a fuel injected engine. What could be the reason for it to do this?

First, let me tell you that pumping the throttle on a fuel injected car does absolutely nothing at all. You probably want to test your fuel pressure using a fuel pressure gauge.
