how long can the car be drivable? Is there a temporary fix?

Blown head gasket means the engine is going to consume coolant and overheat. Driving it that way will also ruin the catalytic converter.

There is no acceptable fix beside just tearing it down and fixing it right. There are all kinds of "snake oil" products out there claiming to be able to fix that but they all do more damage than good.
