1998 Jeep Laredo engin problems

I was driving and the car just cut of while I was in motion, It didn't idle down it just cut off in motion. The was gas in it. The steering locked up, but was able to park. Car started up again with no issues. This is a start of something, please advise . I have been having some drops of oil on the garage floor.

san for codes and chedk fuel pressure first

My jeep was doing the same thing, I replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor and that fixed it.
