The car has an after market alarm, kill switch. The car ran fine, then one day the alarm went crazy and it would not start after that day. I have replaced the battery thinking the cells were damaged. The lights come on but car will not crank up. I looked under the steer wheel, were the kill switch is located. I've tried switching it to off, this does nothing. I also noticed a power control relay, Potter and Brumfield VF4-45F11. I was wondering if maybe a fuse blew in this relay device. I know nothing about alarms or relays. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I'm at a complete loss. Since I purchased the vehicle from an impound lot, I'm stuck figuring out its problems on my own.

I hate to say it, but since it is an aftermarket alarm, I have no schematics to refer to. There are so many different types, and they are all different.

The one thing I can think of is to check if there is power to the kill switch. If there is, see if there is power out. Maybe the switch has gone bad.
