I was told it was not the axle, warped brake rotors, engine mounts, or tie rods. They wanted to take apart the transmission to see if the problem may be there. The car drives fine but shakes when braking at speeds over 45 mph.

I was told there was no problem with the brakes, wheeel alignment, or suspension. They said they need to take apart the transmission to see if they could find the problem (they wanted to charge me a grand just to look at the transmission). Thanks.
