There is a continous noise in the back side of my 1998 chevy venture after I have parked the car. The low whirring noise continues for over twenty minutes at a time. I was told that it is related to the hydraulics brake and that is is also responsible for running down my batteries. Is this true and can this be repaired.

You are likely hearing the compressor for the air suspension. That would likely mean that the air is leaking out as fast as the compressor pumps it in. It needs to be checked out by a competent tech to determine why it's acting that way.
