The issue I have is that I have an oil leak coming from the front of engine , bottom end , although it is on the front side as if coming from the seal where the oil pump mounts to the engine, i checked it is not the sump or the front crank seal, the strange thing is it is quite a severe leak, which stopped for a while and has now started once again...?
What can this be ? almost like an overpressure on the oil system,

Wash the front of the engine down, run and watch for any signs of the fresh leak, let me know where it is coming from, you may have to take the car for a short drive to get the oil hot and thin to start leaking.
