Why when my foot is off the gas does my mazda 626 rpms bounce back and forth, sometimes causing the car to stall

Check for vacuum leaks by spraying tbi cleaner around vacuum lines and intake, clean out the throtyl bore. If this fails, you msy need a nrw idle air control valve. Engine idle will change when spraying tbi cleaner if a leak is found. Fix leaks and retest.
