I replaced the fuel pump in my truck and now I am having trouble starting it in the mornings. It acts like there is no fuel in the line and it takes me a few minutes of cranking the motor for the fuel to get back up to the engine. The pump that I purchaced was a Precision Pump. Could it be that the pressure regulator is bad on the new pump? Or could it be something else?

What you need to do here is check the fuel pressure-start here could be the fuel pressure regulator

Check fuel pump pressure to confirm it is within the manufacturer's specs.
