97 Dodge Ram 5.9L check engine light

I have a 97 dodge ram 5.9L my check engine light came on and I got four codes. P0740 twice, p0138 and p1295 no idea where to start i'm not a mechanic at all?

Start with 1295. That means the 5.0 volt supply to the throttle position sensor is missing. Use a digital voltmeter to measure the three voltages on it when the ignition switch is turned on. If you find 5.0 volts on one of the end terminals, (not the middle one), replace the sensor.

740 is for the torque converter not locking up for better fuel mileage. That is almost surely because of he throttle position sensor problem. The torque converter will unlock when you release the gas pedal completely or press it down a lot. The Engine Computer doesn't know what's happening with a TPS problem so it doesn't command the torque converter to lock up.

138 is related to one of the oxygen sensors. Look at the wiring around them to see if any wires are melted and touching each other.
