This whole problem started after I had payed a mechanic that graduated with me but in a auto mechanics class that required them to get their ASE certification he was supposed to change the intake manifold gasket as well as my heater core and the thermostat because I was having problems with overheating I also had him preform an oil change because it had been a while since I had a oil change now since he had worked on it my gasoline is mixing with the oil I have removed the oil covers and checked the oil which is pungent with the smell of gasoline the whole reason for me doing this is I checked my dipstick and the oil seemed a little thinner than normal if you could point me in a direction it would be gratefully appreciated

Check to see if the fuel pressure regulator is connected and working. Also, let me know if the engine is running properly, other than this issue.

I dont believe it was connected properly it will take me a few days to get the money for the gaskets to put my engine back together I did notice while I was breaking it down that the connection was not properly seated didnt really pay much attention to it sadly I automatically thought it was just the seal on the intake manifold gasket I did notice some oil on the fourth chamber while taking the manifold off and some oil again on the intake manifold gasket please allow me to have at least a week to get back with you on this subject only problem that occurs while running is it didn't have as much giddy up as it did before I had the guy work on it thank you for your time I give you a response as soon as I get it back together I apologize for any inconveniences I was trained to be a computer technician not a engine mechanic this whole thing has me flustered thanks for the help so far
