I HAVE A '92 CHEVY LUMINA WITH 195,000 MILES ON IT. AFTER DRIVING CAR YOU COULD SMELL ANTI-FREEZE.I REPLACED THE LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET, AND THIS IS WHEN MY TROUBLES STARTED. WHEN STARTING THE CAR IT RAN VERY ROUGH AND SMOKING BADLY OUT OF EXHAUST. TOOK CAR TO LOCAL MECHANIC, THEY SAID THE GASKET HAD SLIPPED, REPLACE IT.I DID AND GOT COOLANT IN THE CRANKCASE THIS TIME. REPLACED GASKET A THIRD TIME AND FIXED THE COOLANT IN CRANKCASE PROBLEM BUT THE CAR IS SUCKING IN OIL FROM THE UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD CAUSING IT TO RUN & SMOKE BADLY I HAVE TRIPLE CHECKED ALL VACUUM HOSES & THEY ARE HOOKED UP PROPERLY. IF YOU COULD SOLVE THIS PROBLEM I WOULD GREATLY APRECIATE IT. 1992 CHEVY LUMINA 3.1 ENGINE WITH 195,000 MILES, A/T, CAR BEFORE NOW NEVER SMOKED OR USED ANY OIL AT ALL.
