Can't figure out how to get the power steering pump out, there is no room anywhere I can see that it will clear once it is unbolted. Also, there is a noise at the bottom of the driver side firewall by the floor if I hit gas in reverse and passenger side if I make hard right turn or take off up hill fast from a stop. Kind of hard to describe. It has new frame bushing (maybe installed wrong?) Whole front end is tight and aligned and has new struts. Whoever answered my old question about the bucking in overdrive, had transmission rebuilt and problem went away, thank you

The pump should come out through the bottom of the vehicle. As far as the noise, have you checked motor mounts?

The axle is below the pump and the rack is to the left of it.
I just got the car back from having transmission rebuilt and he said it had one bad mount that he replaced, the noise was still there when I got it back. I can see the new mount he put in.
Also replaced the sway bar links, he said they were bad too but the rest of the steering components are fine.
