Hi, I have a 1996 Sunfire Pontiac with 2.2 engine. My problem is got overheat alot so I took to one of the auto shop to check it out. They said that water pump is bad so they replaced with some big bucks. But it still overheat so I parked the car and wonder it is my next step because surely do not have enough money to keep putting in and seems like is a dead end street.

Several things can cause an engine to overheat. Start by replacing the thermostat and flushing the cooling system. You can do it yourself for around 50 bucks. They should have already done it before just replacing the water pump unless the pump was leaking.
