After a fender bender I put in a new head light and drove it but when I turned on my lights it died after having the lights on for a while my truck died but when it started to die I turned off the headlights and it ran great. We put a new battery in it but out did the same thing as before. The truck runs with out under battery plugged in until I turn on anything with power. I've been told that it is a short somewhere that is draining my battery, is that true and if so how do I find it?

Have the alternator and charging system tested for a start.
