Freeze plug repair

I know that the freeze plug on the passenger rear of the block is leaking and did rep[air it with a smaller plug anf jb weld. It held for about a year and gave up when the water pump lost the water and it heated up.C an it be reached bt drilling from the inside ofb the passenger compartment or is there a better sealant than jb to use?

Honestly, it is a tight fit, but the part should be replaced with a new one. I would pry the old one out and replace it. They make a rubber type replacement that tightens in with a nut. What happens is when you tighten the nut, the rubber base expands.
