Hello,
For the issue you are having it can be triggered by dirty idle air control motor as well as mass air flow sensor or a clogged EGR.
Over time larger air particles sticks to the inside of the IAC and restricts air flow. This will impact on the idle quality of the vehicle.

Also a dirty mass air flow sensor can also make the car have rough idle. This too can be cleaned for improved performance.
