When my car is park or neutral the RPM's go from 700 to 1500 back and forth. Not really sure what needs to be done. When the Air conditioning is turned on the RPM's stabilize at about 500. Any help would be greatly appreciated:-)

The idling speed is too high and it usually is due to a fault with the IAC or vacuum leaks as pointed out by CJ MEDEVAC.

Check coolant level, low level can cause it too. It could also be due to a fault with the cold start valve.
