Hello, I have a 1996 ford Mustang V6, 3.8L, that will dies as I am driving down the road, or after driving, park, return to the car and it will not start. These are the things that be replaced on the vehicle.
1. Gas Cap
2. ECM
3. Coil Pack
4. New fuel Filter, (IT GETS FUEL TO THE ENGINE)

My main question is this when I bought the car the ignition tumbler was broken and a friend repaired it, and apparently the factory alarm was taken out all wires gone, and could this be my problem and how can I resolved it.

It will start and run go the store and come out and it will not start, will have to wait for the car to cool completely down cold engine, before it will start again, brother - in - law says something is drawing on the battery because it creates a dead short. Somebody please help with my pony

Check your fuelPRESSURE first. If ther eis no pressure or low it won't start. If the alarm has been taken out it should be ok. If the battery is being drawn down then the car won't turn over. If that is what's wrong then have the battery and starter checked for draw and condition. If there is a draw on the battery you cna go to the site here under repair and it will tell you how to check for that.
