I plugged in my OBD scanner and got a P0141 error code. I looked up what this meant and found that it means that the bank 1 sensor 2 oxygen sensor wasn't working properly. I just want to confirm that this is in fact correct before I go and buy a replacement o2 sensor.

P0141 - Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2)

Diagnostic fault codes never say to replace parts or that they're bad. They only indicate the circuit that needs further diagnosis or the unacceptable operating condition. In this case the heater could be malfunctioning inside the sensor but it's much more likely there's a problem in the wiring going to it. Specifically the most likely suspect is a corroded terminal in a connector. Next would probably be a broken or cut wire.
