The engine overheated once and now I cannot turn on the car or drive it without it overheating again. I fill up the antifreeze tank and while the car is on it spews all the fluids out of the over flow tube that is connected to the side of the tank. The thermometer is not the problem since I had it checked.

How do you "check" a thermostat? The most common cause is a leaking cylinder head gasket. Any mechanic seeing bubbles in the reservoir is going to recommend a chemical test at the radiator to test for that. That involves drawing air from the radiator, while the engine is running, through a glass cylinder with two chambers partially-filled with a special dark blue liquid. If combustion gases are present, the liquid will turn bright yellow.
