1995 Eagle Vision engine will not start

We cannot hear the fuel pump kick in when we turn on the key on. We put a new fuel pump in but it still did not turn on. It has been hard to start also

Check fuse no.18 10amp and test the fuel pump relay

I replaced the ten amp fuse no. 18 and the fuel pump relay. When I turned the key on, I do not hear the fuel pump kick in.

Direct battery power to the dark green wire on the fuel pump connector-if it comes on test the ASD relay

Also check fuse A 20amp in power distribution center

The test light did not come on from the negative post in the battery to the green wire. It also is a 94', not a 95'.I checked the fuse and I it looked good.

I meant power the fuel pump from the battery positive post to the green wire at the connector and see if it comes on

I un pluged the the connector at the fuel pump and hook a wire from the battery to the place where the green wire would go . No luck the pump did not run .I also tried with the connector pluged. No luck either

I ran jumper cables back to the fuel pump. I unpluged the connector then ran jumper wires to the puup the green one to the + the black to the - then the pump ran

Check the ground circuit if okay replace the fuel pump.

The green wire is the power to the fuel pump

With the key on there is no power at the green wire at the connector to the fuel pump. Where does the other end go to?

What your doing is bypassing the fuel pump circuit and directing power from the battery if its not coming on you have a defective fuel pump. Even if the key is on you should have power to it before the relay de-energize

There is no power to the green wire when the key is on. Ichecked it with a test light.

Get a wire hook one end to the battery positive terminal and the other end to the green wire at the fuel pump connector-if the pump is good it should come on-if not check the ground if okay -replace the fuel pump.

Ii ran a wirre from the battery +side to the green wire. The fuel pump ran. Now what?
