96 chevy s10 brake booster. Everything is disconnected, just can't get it out of the engine compartment. Moved and secured the master cylinder there is some cable coming through the firewall draped over the a/c hose. If I could unattach this cable I could move the a/c hose more and have room. What am I missing? Please help.

here are the instructions from teh manual. you might have an electrical harness hung up on things causing your problem. But as you seein instructions they reccomend taking the Master right out.
