My truck pull down is not working. Could it be the fuse and / or switch for pull down actuator?
Is it difficult to replace the pull down switch/actuator? Where is it located?

What is a "pull down?" Do you mean the power door locks don't work?

The motor that pulls down my trunk. The trunk automatically closes. Right now it engages the lock but does not close all the way down. Saw someone who had the same problem on your website but no answer. Could be fuses or bad switch?

You should check the fuses and/or relays.

Next with the trunk open push down on the trunk pull-down switch to see if it attempts to engage. If not, use a test light to check for power at the switch, check for a good grouund as well.
If all is well, the switch mechanism will have to be replaced. (These things go out often enough)

It has a plastic gear inside of the housing which goes bad at times.

Thanks so much we located it and did the "Wiggle and Tap" thing and Bingo it worked. Yep it's getting old. But the caddie is still a sharp looking and good car. Thanks for your help.
