i have a 95 nissan truck XE V6 that i am losing oil pressure in i have put thicker oil in but it drops to zero

Check the oil pressure with a mechanical gauge to rule the oil pressure switch, engine bearings and oil pump

what is the actual reading cold idle and hot idle.

Cold idle is 60 hot idle is 0

Check the engine bearing clearances

About the end of summer i changed the oil and put in synthetic oil and that's when i lost the oil pressure. If that would tell you anything the trick has 130000
