I have a 1995 Nissan Maxima SE. My tachometer keeps going into the red zone. I just had my heater core replaced.

Tachometer is for engine rpm and if it is erratic after the replacement of the gheater core, the most likely cause would be a loose wire connection behind the meter cluster.
