when I add water comes out between the motor back of the block in the transmission is fast as I'm putting it in I'm pretty sure its a freeze plug do I need to pull the motor or slide the transmission back.what else do I need to know

You're most likely right. Yes the trans will need removed or the at least separated from the engine. Once you get it apart, it is easy to replace.
