My starter was going bad b4 we experienced -14 degree weather. It holds a charge and my engine rev's up, but it won't turn over. Could it be my spark plugs? A friend suggested it could be the voltage regulator or the battery selinoid switch(?) I'm unemployeed and I don't know much about car's. My apoligies for not being able to contribute a donation, but I could really use your input. Thanx.

Have an assistant try to start your car then smack starter on body while he's trying to start if starter goes on then it's a starter but if it was bad before then it certainly probably failed due to the cold weather. But have your battery charged and tested autparts do it for free
