I have a 1995 Chrysler LHS. Starts, runs for 2 seconds, stalls. Wipers dont work, gas gage and several other inerior units dont work. The blower motor comes on full tilt with cold air, and unable to control that as well. I suspect a bad BCM and thinking about sending it in for remanufacture. I have been told that the ECM and BCM should go in together for a proper match up. I still need to repace water pump, timeing belt, tensioner ect. I'm getting the hint that LHS stands for "Large Hunk of Soot" to be polite and are problematic with eletrical demons, tranny issues and motor problems. Can't decide if a salvage yard is in order. Body and interior look beautiful. I dont want to drop another $300 to $400 in parts alone only to be faced with more issues elsewhere in the car if the above is true. What do you guys think? Soda cans or back on the road?

It is very possible for the bcm but I would have it confirmed before throwing this guess out at it. A shop with a scan tool can verify by looking for codes and looking at the info.

No, ecm and bcm do not have to be replaced together.
