I am replacing the ball joints on my truck and my lower ball joint will not come out. The whole rubber boot is off. So I cant pound it out. That middle part were the nut goes on just moves around. It is rusted badly also. How can I get this out?I do have air tools and I thought about an air hammer. But would like some advice first. Thanks.

If it is rusted in place, an air hammer should vibrate it loose. Can you upload a pic of it so I can see what you are dealing with?

Sorry it took so long to get back. I was dealing with a family emergency. Have you trued using a torch to heat around the joint and then hit it out?
