car needs to be jumped to start and then after a moment its dies and shuts off

i have this car just got it and bought a new battery when the problem started figured that would be the problem had to still jump the car to get it to start runs perfect for about 7 mins then just stops idle and dies then i have to rejump the car and it does the same thing its about to kill me to not be able to figure this out just got this car for xmas and drove for two days before this started please help

The generator is not recharging the battery while you're driving. You can prove that by measuring the battery voltage while the engine is running. It must be between 13.75 to 14.75 volts.
