The other day I parked my car on an incline hill infront of my house. Later that day I went to put it in my driveway, it would start or even crank over. I could not move the shift lever to see if it had not gotten into park properly. When I released the shift lever (via override button) it still would not crank over. What gives? I bought a new battery, new relay fuse, checked most of the fuses and all seems fine. My power locks do not work, but the chime sounds when the door is open and key is in the ignition.

Had it tested and it did not pass the test. I had no electrical power, it seemed, to the car. I thought after replacing the battery, the next logical step would be a transmission linkage problem not allowing the ignition to work properly...since it was on an incline? Sounds dumb...I know but I'm not without a little knowledge about cars.

This might sound dumb, but here it goes...If I have a faulty starter relay fuse, could that also disable my powerlocks and other electrical components from working? and also cause my shifter to not want to come out of park with pressing the release switch?
