I have a 1994 camry 220si that does not have any spark, the reason for that is because the engine light on the dash does not light up. Please help. I have already replaced the complete distributor but do not know where to go from there. The engine light on the dash does not come on causing the car to have no spark out of the distributor, it is a brand new distributor and the old one was also tested and fine. Toyota said that they can not plug in the computer because the light is of and thats why they can not read any fault codes

I don't hace full internet acces. With the key turned on, the car switches on and turns over but the engine light stays off and that is the reason for no spark. I have triple checked almost everything on the car, when you turn the key, the fuel pump goes and basically everything is fine but there is no spark. There are 3 wires running from the airflow sensor and one of them only had 5.88 volts and out of my own stupidity, I gave it 12volts while the engine was running, it instantly diedThe old ECT was faulty so it did not pick up the airflow sensor, thats why I fiddled with it, I did buy another one after searching forever, fitted it and that is where I am now. No engine light on dash with the key turned on, so no spark. The immobilizer is professionally disabled as toyota instruckted. I hope I have fully described my problem clearly, thanks Christo

Yep, that was a real bad move. You have probably fried the computer now. Check all the fuses real good.
