how much would it cost to get the a/c fixed in these types of cars? They say it just needs an a/c clutch.

I seriously doubt it JUST needs a clutch. It's a bad idea to attempt to change a clutch on a GM compressor. First they require special tools to get it off and on and the compressor itself is usually part of the problem along with other components in the system. You're probably looking at a minimum of a new compressor, accumulator and orifice tube and that usually runs $600 to $900 complete.
