i have a 1994 nissan pickup that keep burning uo dist caps and rotor buttons

i changed plug and wires 3 caps 3 rotors the local shop changed a o 2 sensor . it runs fine but when cap starts to tear up it gets hard to start it will kinda back fire when its cold or on first start of the day

what do you mean by burning up? they melt? the contacts get vaporized like old plug tips? how long does it taake for this to happen?

it dont take long 3 weehs and the cotacts just look burnt and the littlr niple in the center or the cap will be wore down to a nub
