how do i get my amigo to run right

My 1994 Isuzu amigo 2.6 l engine misfires constantly..I've replaced everything external dealing with ignition...80% of the time it skips...all I do is downshift floor it and it almost stabilizes with a heavy power loss

Is the MIL indicating?
Anything done prior to this occurring?
Were valve clearances checked?
